Which playoff matchup has your interest the most?

In the American league,it is the LA Angels visiting the Boston RedSox,while the dreaded NY Yankees visit the Central division champion Cleveland Indians.

In The National League,you have the 2 hottest teams facing off....The Wild card winner Colorado Rockies visiting the Philadelphia Phillies.In the other matchup,The lovable losers,the Chicago Cubs take on the Arizona Diamondbacks!

I believe the RedSox have the best team 1 through 25 of all the teams...but it is playoff baseball and anything can happen.

In The NL,I strongly believe the world series representative will come from the Phil-Col series.Both teams are on such a roll!

I am predicting a Boston-Colorado world series and the Red Sox will once again be world champions!

The RedSox moved on in the playoffs by sweeping the Angels....but why do I have this awfull feeling...the Yankees are going to make a comeback vs the Indians?

I don't know Rob....I think a Sox-Rockies series would be at least different anyway.....and I agree,I wouldn't reschedule an appointment...I would just call in sick that day...LOL

Amen the Yankees are OUT! I'll take the Sox into the series, but Clevland wouldn't break my heart (last Series win 1948). The AL SHOULD win the thing. The NL rep will be the Rockies or Diamondbacks. Who cares! Seems really unfair that clubs only 10yrs old are vying for a series appearance while all the 100+ year clubs get to sit and watch.  Ah screw it.....GO SOX!!!! Maybe Shillingcomes back home after this year!!!!

Hey Scott..I am with you...also did you notice the 3 other teams(not including Boston)when you combine their 3 payrolls,it was still less than the NY Yankees.You see what 200 million buys you these days!

I never thought of Schilling going back to Philly(if that was what you were alluding to)Someone will snatch him up,if the RedSox are crazy to let him go.Give him his 1 more year....he has earned it in my book.

Sox had their way with the Rocks and DBacks for that matter earlier this year...but the playoffs are a whole new ballgame.I guess that is why they play the games;)

Well,The Rest Sox decided to pitch a pitcher who hasn't pitched in 3 weeks and has a bad back instead of their best and are now down 3-1...I will never understand how they manage this team...ARGH!

I didn't have a problem with him pitching Wakefield as much as I have him sitting Jacoby Ellsberry. JD Drew is awful and I just don't understand why he is not in there. I guess his arm is questionable but he sure can run and hit.

Sox did pitch 7 of 8 scoreless innings. LOL

Jay,I do agree with you on Ellsbury....I almost wrote about that earlier...They spent $70 million on a platoon player in Drew.....but I have to say...every time Wake is out for a stretch,he isn't very good when he comes back...he needs to be in a groove....you are right..they did pitch 7 scoreless...unfortunately the crooked frame was a 7...LOL

I would have so rathered to see Beckett last night against their #4....now they have Sabathia at the Jake and I will be willing to bet you,it will not be the pitcher they saw in game 1....Oh well....we shall see..that is why they play the games!

My World Series picks are still alive as the RedSox hang in there another day with a 7-1 win.This team is so undisciplined,it is painful to watch sometimes.How many more times must we watch Manny turn a double into a single because he is admiring the ball he hit?Oh well..game 6 on Saturday!

BC is #2...how did I forget about them?

I swore off hockey after the last strike....plus,I have a very difficult time supporting the Boston Bruins while Jeremy Jacobs owns this team...if he ended up buying the RedSox like he tried 4 years ago....we would be on 90 years of futility!(and no 2 world championships)

Rob, BC beat Virginia Tech on Thursday night. They were down 10-0 with less than 3 minutes to go and came back and won 14-10. Go figure. LOL

BLR GUY you are absolutely correct about Jeremy Jacobs all he wants to do is make a profit. Nothing more, nothing less. You are right we would still be searching for a title if he purchased the team.

Because of him..the Bruins will probably not win anything anytime soon. The players that have been traded off or not re-signed because of $$$$$ is mind boggling!
