Recently my husband who works for CALFire and is also a peace officer ran across and article that said...WASP spary can provide more protection than pepper spray!

Usually insect repellent comes in large dispensers and not likely to fit snugly in a handbag or purse. There's also concern as to injury and potential liability. What about the use of a whistle?

I appreciate your suggestion. However, if someone is going to harm me....I going to do my best to protect myself...and I don't think a whistle will do it.
I was held up at gun point quite a few years ago and would never wish that experience upon my worst enemy. I have learned a lot from that experience...If I had wasp spray or pepper spray near me during that horrific experience...I would have used it and RAN!
