There is so much to learn in the Rain! Do you take advantage of what is offered here? If you don't, you really should! A whole world full of online information is available here! A whole online Community of like-minded (and sometimes not) people are here ready to talk to and with you and to educate you. ActiveRain is here for the taking - if you WANT it!! (and if you pay for it, why would you not?)
Last week I attended RainCamp - both days - in Atlantic City, NJ at Caesar's. What an incredible experience! The focus of the event was called "Reputation Architecture" and it was all about building an online Reputation and then Protecting it.
So much information! So many new friends! Wonderful venue and great food! What an AWESOME Community we have here!
I have to tell you, the folks from ActiveRain are very special people. One of the things that impressed me so much was how very devoted they are to what they do, and they do it very well. The most important thing I learned is that they care very, very much about US! They really do want to help us in everything we do, and they are full of amazing and incredible ideas to that end!
In addition to all the information I came home with, I also have resolved to read as much of the information the ActiveRain Staff provides for us as I possibly can. They are, each and every one of them, incredibly amazing, gifted people full of knowledge they want to share with us. I, for one, intend to take full advantage of every opportunity to learn from them.
This also holds true for the attendees who also are so willing to share with each other and be involved in stimulating conversations with and amongst all of us, especially the Keynote Speakers, like Katerina Gasset, who is amazing!! (I know I'm over-using that word, but it is the right one to use.) If you can avail yourself of Katerina's information, you should. She is a never-ending fountain of knowledge and helpfulness!
Thanks to Bob, Steven, Kerrie, the 2 Kellys, and Brad (now with Zillow)!! You all are just wonderful!! Paul & I had a blast! And a special shout-out to Katerina Gasset, and also Gerry Michaels from Gettysburg, too! There were many others we talked with, but too many to mention. It was wonderful meeting you all!
Here's a link to a Blog Brad wrote some time ago about his first day at ActiveRain Headquarters in Seattle & the staff there: http://actvra.in/8gl.
And here's a link to a page where all the Staff are listed and pictured, with links to their pages: http://activerain.com/action/default/about.
If there is any way you can get to one of the scheduled RainCamps, make sure you do. It is worth every penny it may cost you, and then some!
If you are in any aspect of the Real Estate Business and do not belong to ActiveRain yet, let me know, and I will send you an invitation to join. It's free to get started and get acquainted. See how you like it for yourself.
AND DON'T FORGET - ActiveRain is here for the taking - if you WANT it!!
