Oklahoma City is busting out of the recession. The people love it here, and are just excited about the city.
Compared to the rest of the country, the Oklahoma City metro area is doing extremely well. We enjoy the second lowest unemployment of large cities in the nation (behind Washington DC). We have a new 50 story building being built downtown, thanks to Devon. Devon's old building has been bought by Continental, who is moving their headquarters to OKC and planning on tripling in size here. We have olympic athletes training for the London 2012 Olympics at the world class Devon boathouse (I might be a little biased with this one, my wife works there). I'm not sure if it's just spring or the growth, but you can definitely feel the energy here.
