The real estate agent you should hire to sell your home should:
- tell you the truth about the local real estate market with statistical facts to support his position.
- tell you the truth about how to prepare your home for sale and show you pictures of the homes you will be competing with AND take you to see them.
- tell you the truth about how to price your home with detailed statistics and spread sheets to illustrate her recommendation.
- tell you the truth about the extreme importance of an online marketing campaign with the examples of the quality slideshows and videos she has used to maximize her listings exposure to potential buyers. (see examples in part 2 :-)
- tell you the truth about how long it might take to get a winning offer on your property with a "Days on Market" analysis to illustrate her findings.
Be the kind of person who follows all the way through to the end of the transaction and beyond. Someone you feel comfortable calling with all your real estate questions and needs as long as you live in the area served by that agent.
