I think you all know I'm a bit of an android fiend, so obviously, I had to get a Xoom, play around with it, and show you a couple of things that you can do...

You may recall that I was not so sure about the ability to blog on AR, but that is working fine. Editing isn't all that bold is not working...

That aside, let's talk tools...

most importantly, zipforms are alive and well, so you can create contracts wherever you are. You do pay $9.99/yr for the privilige, but that is a small price for the functionality.

Along those lines, get a $.99 copy of ezpdf, they now have freehad annotation (read - sign with a pen on the tablet).

You could also use repligo, that works well too.

This is the business case I have been lolking for, and until I had that, I was not going to get one, now that this is fixed... off you go, I am going to make a tqblet a recommendation over a smart phone... that's a different blog post though.

Terkel,

I just got an Android phone, the Samsung Epic. I am so pleased with it a tablet will be my next purchase. Now the only thing that is holding me back is the implementation of 4G here in Phoenix by my carrier, Sprint. They say "Soon"  but no particulars.

I appreciate your informative posts on Android, tablet and QR codes, and have implemented some of them.

Jim,

4g being the big draw for me too.

Sprint is already receiving accessories to the xoom, so the industry figures a launch is imminent. FCC has approved it with the type of network Sprint uses, so you are close. Mine is running 3g until the lte is lit up here, and it works fine, I'm typing this on it. Even got some of the tools to work, so I'm very pleased with that.

I now load my showing list to the Xoom, pull it up when I am out with the client, and I have the mls open in the back so i can look up additional information.

Let me know how it goes out there.
