Honey, they're moving us to Oklahoma City!
With more and more large companies like Boeing, Continental Resources, Chesapeake Energy and others relocating their employees and offices to the Oklahoma City metro, this is becoming the topic of conversation in many homes across the country. Whether the move will be from just an hour and a half away in Enid, Oklahoma or half way across the country from California or Virgina it's a big deal!
Relocating to a new city is not just about buying a new place to live and moving furniture. It's about moving a life full of relationships and activities. I understand. While our daily routine may be mundane at times, it's comfortable. It's ours. We can get a lot done without much thought.
We all know where to go in our community for exactly what we need. I do. I know which grocery store has the yogurt I like. I know the distance of the running trails at the different Edmond parks. I know which bakery to go to for my daughter's favorite cookies.
Of course we have relationships with friends and family. But we have other ties to the community we live in. There are people we have grown to trust and count on. The secretary at the elementary school that calls you when your kiddo is upset. The hair stylist who knows how to deal with that weird thing your hair does. The nail tech who can always squeeze you in.
Relocation is a process, not an event. I can be your resource. Take advantage of that. Sure, I'll help you find the perfect house. But I can also help you rebuild the comfortable lifestyle you know. As we tour homes, tell me what a typical day looks like for you. When you do, I can point out people and places in your new community that may make the adjustment a bit easier.
Learning that you are starting over in a new town can be unsettling at first. Let me ease your mind. Give me a call at the CENTURY 21 Goodyear Green office 405-359-7400. Just ask for Kristyn. We can start the process together.
Welcome to Oklahoma City!!
