Oh wow, I found this on Cindy Logan's (Irvine) blog site. She did not allow reblogging, so I went to Sheldon's site to find it. What a neat guy. And, oh his accent is lovely. I just love accent's. I don't think I have one, of course, because I'm from SoCal. However, I suspect I sound as if I have an accent to those who I think have one. Anyway, Cheryl Richie of Maryland asked Sheldon to blog this subject and I thought I'd pass it along. Cindy Logan has some great marketing ideas, you might want to checkout her blog, and I hope you visit Sheldon. Two great new people I'm now watching. :0) Gail

Gail, I see. I think you can re-blog MY information, and you have to go to the original to reblog someone else's information. Is that right? I re-blog anything that I find helpful and useful for others. And Sheldon's accent is indeed lovely. Living here in SoCal, I don't think I have an accent either! : )

I'm not sure what happens when you re-blog, if you can check the box that says, "okay to reblog". I'll have to look. I'm pretty new here, too. Only here since Septembou er. You may be right, you may have to go back to the orginal comment to reblog. Also, there is a box to click at the bottom that allows your comments to be "reblogged". :) Glad you stopped by. :)

Gail - great reblog. I am a sucker for accents as well! It's funny though that people from other areas do think we have an accent. Hard to imagine with the diversity of CA that there would be a norm distinguishable as an accent.

Funny, DeeDee. I remember spending my summers in New Jersey with my cousins and they all had that thick accent. I never really picked it up but for some reason they didn't think talked differnt. I guess they were too busy with wishing they were "California Girls"!! The beach boys were great in that era. It made me very popular in NJ!! LOL
