Guess what? I just down loaded some thing from the internet this week on my I-5 high speed computer and my computer not only got a virsus but worms. Now, here is the sad but true part. The company that I got the information stated on their site that they could get rid of the problems that they caused me if I would pay them money. Now, is this fair? Is this legal? Are they crooks? I had to have a company call Godspeed Technologies out of Charlotte, North Carolina come over to my office and pick up my computer and get it cleaned up for it to even work. He is even able to fix your computer from any where in the world by doing a remote service repair but I wanted him to pick up my computer to make sure that it had a full physical and to make sure that everything was in tip top shape because I stay on one of my 5 computers about 12 hours a day because of Executive Restoration LLC who is an emergency service restoration company who handles water damage, fire damage, smoke damage, sewage backs ups, mold inspections, mold remediation, certifed mold remediation, water extractions and more. Executive Restoration and SnellExperts.com are both owned by David Snell out of Charlotte, North Carolina who is now going national to help all the mom and pop operations in the great land of ours called the United States of America. It is still a great country and the best country to live in even if do have our own set of problems. I have lived and traveled all over the world and the USA is still the best country to not only live in but to work in so please do not give up. We will make it and we will endure.
I am also learning to be careful of what attachments I open from emails because you never know who is trying to get into your computer and do you harm. So, I am learning to not open attachments from folks that I do not know. Even if it sounds too good to be true.
Has anyone else in here had a similar experiece? It is a crying shame that folks prey on others in my book.
Be careful of what you open that are attachments and this includes videos as well for you never know what is in what ever you open. Actually, as this problem to my computer was happening, I was able to watch the entire thing take over my computer but there was nothing that I could do so I just had to do an emergency shut down.
