I enjoy doing article posts when I schedule time for tools and tweaks . . . I usually get large responses from readers. Today I will share a great group of innovative tools and little tweaks.
OK,here is a phenomenal little tool in Google - go to Google and look to the top right hand corner of the homepage, you will see a link called "Search Settings" click on it and disable the "Google Instant" feature. Next, do a search on anything . . . then look in the left hand column down a bit and you will see a link for the "Wonder Wheel, click it and be amazed!" This is one of my absolute favorite little tools. Here's why:
Google’s Wonderwheel is an excellent tool because through Google’s Wonderwheel , Google is telling you which keywords are relevant to your main keyword so instead of spamming your main keyword and suffering ranking penalties by repeating your main keyword too many times, you do the smart thing and stuff your content with related searches given you by Google’s Wonderwheel instead.
Now if you put your creative thinking cap on I am certain you can come up with ten or more ways to use the Wonder wheel . . . if you're real good you will figure out how people use it to make money!
Here is a cool program for all the agents in the house . . . Patch.com.This little online tool allows you to click on a state from a US map and get local, relevant news stories . . . you can use this to spice up your blogs, or show a potential client you truly care. I have used this tool in dozens of ways and it never fails to get a great response from the receiver.
This is a must do, an action item. Go to Google Places and setup your business in their directory. The exposure is enormous. emember, you want to be everywhere on the Internet, especially with tools where once you fill them out your're done. Go do it, you'll thank me later.
The last one for today is not a tool per se or a tweak . . . it is a great idea I have utilized often. Go into one of the local businesses in your area that you don't know. Preferrably a small business. Talk to the owner and see if they would like to be a guest blogger on your blog or website. This is a great way to do something for someone else first. They get the exposure and everyone likes to see their name in print.
Choose a cool or great business -- one that can correlate to what you do. Tell other business owners you would welcome articles from them. Your phone will begin ringing and we all know what happens when your phone rings . . . !Hope you enjoyed these little ditties . . . and thanks for stopping by.
