Something Is Weird

Did you read the story about the 20 year old nursing student that was abducted? She was taken out of her house by a man wearing camouflage, who then took her into the woods. Her brother watched the whole thing unfold, if I am reading the article correctly, and then went outside to check on things. By that time she was gone. He found blood on the ground.

What is weird to me is that the brother took so long to act. I am not accusing him, just wondering why he would wait. Weird to me.

I hope they find her and she is OK. My wife and I have been praying for her safe return.

What a terrible thing to have happen.I have a bad feeling on this one as I am sure many people do.

Kevin * I thought the VERY SAME THING when I saw this on TV...why did her brother not do anything if not just run and take a license plate #.  Shades of Elizabeth Smart!!!

More opinions than you want to hear about.

I read somewhere that the brother is not a suspect.  There was no report of a vehicle anywhere near the home, and one report stated that there was no vehicle.  There's a 25 year old adult male brother who says he saw his sister being taken into the woods, and he didn't follow them.  I'm not making any accusations but, if I were the brother, I would be looking for a really good defense attorney.

Mike * at the time he was watching, the brother did not know if there was a vehicle or not.....he could have followed anyway to see the direction they went * loads of information to give to the authorities

I can understand if the brother were a little boy who wouldn't know what to do in this instance.  It's very curious he didn't take any action at all.

Yes, no accusations, but I also don't understand how an adult person can see his very close relative being "pulled" in the woods, and not do anything... Just watch??

Rest assured if I had been that brother I would have chased and shot somebody dragging my sister into the woods.

The whole story is very sad.....and I hope they find the girl safe and sound.  I won't comment on what may or may not have happened cause I've heard several versions and I"m not sure they're clear on it.  Let's just pray she comes home safe.
