When searching for a home in the Denver suburbs, school boundaries are sometimes a very important qualifier for the search location. While Colorado is an open enrollment state, the opportunity to enroll children at any public school only exists if there is room. Some schools are at or near capacity, and living within the school's geographic boundaries can sometimes be the only or best way to be certain of enrollment. Additionally, if you do not live within the school boundaries, school bus will not be a transportation option for you.
Timber Trail Elementary is a K - 6 school in Castle Pines North and part of the Douglas County School District. Timber Trail is on the "Modified" school calendar. This calendar is similar to a traditional school year calendar, but the summer is a bit shorter and spring and fall breaks are a bit longer.
Timber Trail Elementary is located at the south end of Castle Pines North off of Monarch Blvd. The boundaries for this school, Timber Trail, include homes in Castle Pines North including Daniel's Gate and a small other part of Castle Pines that is not officially considered Castle Pines North. Students that have Timber Trail Elementary as their home school elementary school will feed to Rocky Heights Middle School and Rock Canyon High School.
