This picture was taken a few days ago at a Lake Wenatchee Home Inspection. The metal carport was no match for the heavy snow we received over the last winter. Notice how much snow we still have there...in April!

How do your appraisals get through when the home's roof is not visible by the appraiser?
Like to see how snow weighs on the roof of some manufactured housing. With only the foundations, porches and decks remaining on the ground in North Carolina, we see how manufactured housing fairs in a tornado.

@Melanie, we provide home inspections. I'm not sure what the proper procedure for appraisers is when dealing with snow covered homes. Our company reports on all visible components of the structure and enters all easily accessible areas: crawl space, roof, attic, etc.
