Do you keep in touch with your past clients?

Do you keep in touch with your past clients?

I have seen agents promoting staying in touch with past clients. They say that most of their business comes from referrals. They send out newsletters, calendars, recipes cards, comedy cards, and household hint cards. They have given out pies , ink pens and emails. What do you think is effective?

I am hosting a Fall Festival for my past clients and I am advertising it in the paper for all to come. We are  at a beautiful site (one of my new subdivisions at the edge of the mountains- www.WhelchelValley.net ). We are having food, a hayride, prizes, bluegrass music. I never had an event like this before. I hope that it will do well!

Any comments? Ideas?

I do keep in touch with my past clients and even prospects who were suspects.  You just never know.  I wish I was one of your past clients because your fall festival sounds like great fun.  I hope it's a big success and I am sure your clients will really appreciate your thoughtfulness.
