I put in my 10c. The WORST EVER experience was OCWEN. I nearly lost my mind in that transaction. If I called 3 times in one day three different people in India would give me three totally different updates.

Even with their fancy Equator computer system, I give it to Bank of America.  Kind of funny we actually submitted an offer onto their system last week for the 3rd time after they kept closing out the file.  And I instantly got an email from a B of A loan officer asking if the new buyer needed help obtaining a loan - the email spouted on and on about her great customer service.

My response was for her to help me get this short sale approved.  But she told me that was handled by a totally different department and there was nothing she could do.  It was almost like a Shakesperean comedy if it were not true.

(I did click on take the poll.)

BB - Ok, I added my .02 too.  Personally, every short sale I have worked on has ranged somewhere from bad to nightmare from #%!!  The two worst ones were Wells with BofA & HSBC running a very close second and third.

BB,

It was a toss-up between OCWEN and Bank of America.  I voted B of A on the poll.

PollDaddy is supposed to be displaying the results but I think I set it up wrong. I'll come back and post  them later. Thus far we've had 150+ votes. BofA is a head of the pack!!

So many to choose from! Can't we just put them all? ;-) I sure hope this new legislation being talked about can move this process along better. I also voted BoA but I felt torn between them Chase.

I bet it would be interesting to ask the opposite question:

Have you ever had a nice, simple, painless short sale transaction?  If so, who was the lender?

My answer to that one would be Wachovia.  :-)
