THE POWER OF HOME STAGING PART II: VACANT ON MARKET 149 DAYS. STAGED TO SOLD IN 25 DAYS

By
Home Stager with ProStaged Homes

It's selling season and the power of home staging is hard at work here at Pro Staged Homes. This West Covina property sat on the market for 149 days without a bite.

Vacant Main Living Area 149 Days on Market

The sellers had called us in to stage their newest project in Diamond Bar and that property sold in less than 30 days. The sellers believe that the staging was the main reason the home sold so quickly. They still had this West Covina property which had been sitting vacant and unsold for 149 days. They decided that staging would bring them the sale they needed.

Since the Diamond Bar lease wasn't set to expire for another month, we moved the furniture over to this West Covina property and staged it with different accessories.

Pro Staged Homes Main Living Area After

The result? After sitting vacant for 149 days, this property sold 25 days after we staged it.

Our clients are quite pleased and happy to be able to finally move on to the next project and you can be sure that professional home staging by Pro Staged Homes is now part of their selling strategy.

And we must admit we are quite proud and pleased to say that we had 2 properties sell under the original lease agreement and in less than 60 days!

PROVEN RESULTS IN PRICED RIGHT-STAGED HOMES SALES!

That looks like it made a world of difference. Sometimes it's hard for people to get an ida of how to use a space when it is empty.

You are so right Jason. A very small minority of people have the ability to envision how an empty space could look or see past what is to what could be. Thank you for taking time to read and comment. Best of success to you.

Service You Can Trust ~ Someone You Can Depend On

Judy, I am always amazed at how much better homes show and faster they sell after they have been staged.  Nice before and after pictures.

Yes, they do show better and usually sell faster Vivkie, especially in this market. Can't say they sell for more money every time but it does still happen. From what I see, priced right and staged homes are selling first. There's so much competitionm sellers need every advantage they can get and staging is among the best. Thank you for stopping by. :-)

Congrats!!  It's so hard for most buyers to imagine what and how to place furniture....and I think that particularly true in the "open concept" living/dining spaces.  Everyone wants one...nobody knows how to place furniture in one....except a GREAT stager!!!

Good Morning Kathy, Thank You. Very true. I read that most buyers will place their furniture the same way the seller had it, or the way they saw it in the home. So, it's even more important for it to be placed correctly for maximum flow and appeal. Thank You so much for reading and commenting.

BTW - your picture reminds me of my friend Catherine. Well dressed, stylish and you both have the same coloring and similar hair styles. Every time I see you photo I think of her. And that's a compliment! :-)

Judy--congratulations.  Small wonder the property had not sold in 149 days.  Great "after" with the staging.

Hi Judy ~ congrats on TWO success stories for this client!  Your staging showed buyers the potential of this property, and the quick sale is proof that staging is a powerful tool that helps homes sell faster.  Great job!
