I want to let you know about a unique new program we are extremely proud of. It's a program that provides cash contributions of up to $5,000 to SafeHaven of Tarrant County, the remarkable nonprofit organization that assists thousands of local victims of domestic violence every year.
Basically, the program allows anyone who buys or sells property using our services to have a donation of up to $5,000 made to SafeHaven in the name of the buyer or seller. The amount of the donation depends on the property's sale price. Both commercial and residential transactions qualify. In announcing the creation of the program last month, Mary Lee Hafley, SafeHaven's President and CEO, pointed out that "Approximately 26,000 Tarrant County properties will change hands during the next year.
