Besides its great community spirit, its closeness to Manhattan, and its "small town" feel, one of my favorite things about the place I live is the Waterfront Park. Dobbs Ferry is one of the towns located right on the Hudson River, and the scenic park provides an awesome spot to read a book, catch some rays, sketch the scene north to the Tappan Zee bridge, or south to NYC and the George Washington bridge, and picnic.
I was there today, taking in the mid-April Spring scene and I snapped a few pictures. I'm attaching a few of my favorites. Enjoy them!
The wind is evident in the first - both on the river surface, and by the tree branches.
The only other inhabitants were enjoying themselves as well.
