It doesn't matter whether renters are looking for houses for rent in Stockton California or houses for rent in Dallas Texas, the majority no longer turn to newspapers to find someplace to live. Like home buyers, renters are going online. And if you’ve got houses for rent, that’s where you need to go, too.
For a long time, local newspaper ads were THE place renters turned to find the latest in availability. A brief description, a price, and an address were all renters needed to start their search. But today’s renters don’t have time for all that driving around. They want fast, easy access to all of the information needed to make a decision right at their fingertips. When they search online for houses for rent in Stockton, California or houses for rent in Dallas, Texas or any other area, that’s exactly what they get.
Renters aren’t the only ones bypassing the newspaper. People looking for the latest news, stock quotes, traffic conditions and weather are going online as well. One-by-one newspapers big and small are folding because they can’t keep up with the speed and convenience that online sources offer. Let’s face it – newspapers are a dying breed that may soon become extinct.
If you don’t want your houses for rent Stockton California or houses for rent in Dallas Texas or elsewhere dying and decaying for lack of interested renters, you should think twice before advertising your property in the newspaper. For a fraction of the price, you can advertise online with a reputable source and give your income-producing property the attention it deserves.
When advertising houses for rent online whether in Stockton, California, Dallas, Texas or elsewhere, you’ll find ample space to highlight your property’s best features. You can also specify property type, number of bedrooms, number of bathrooms, with garage or without, city, state, address, and more to make searching for the perfect property easy for every prospective renter. You can even include interior and exterior photos for less than the cost of a classified ad in the newspaper.
Try it and you’ll see!

People looking for homes to lease are increasingly using their mobile phones to find rental properties. If websites aren't optimized for mobile, they're as outdated as newspapers.

Hi Lorrie,
I would have agreed with you a year or two ago. However, now that smart phones like Droid and iPhone are becoming more prevalent, webmasters are no longer under the pressure they were to write the .Mobi web pages. The new smart phones, with their ability to zoom in or zoom out of normal web pages, are eliminating the need to optimize for the smaller display, older phones.
