It's gonna be a good year!

So finally I got my first one.  I got my first BPO to do this weekend, and it's an interior one.  Now this might not normally seem like a big achievement, but it is for me.  I have recently submitted all my info to numerous companies to try my  hand at the BPO/REO side of real estate.  I got on with a company called EMortgageLogic.  I kept getting emails from them with BPO files to do but everytime I clicked on the link it had already been taken by another agent.  So I decided to get onto the website and snag them from off of there.  It finally worked! I got my first BPO and I am doing it later today.  I am glad that nobody is going to be home, since it is my first one.  I will be able to take my time with this so I dont mess it up for my first attempt.  From what I have read, this is the way to get into REOs.  Maybe I'll do a bunch of BPOs and one of them will turn into a lead for me.  Maybe they wont.  Either way, if I'm not selling tons of houses everyday, it is a way for me to get some extra income coming in.  I am really glad I decided to become a Realtor.  This has got to be the greatest profession around.  I mean ,we meet new intersting people everyday, and we get to see all the coolest properties in town.  We spend our time conversing, driving and eating.  Well at least I do.  Maybe I'm a little over excited at what I think is sure to come.  But hey, without excitement, what's the point?
