Ok... I have heard something I did not like.... please tell me it's NOT so....

Services for Real Estate Pros with Knights Investing

I have heard that AR is deleting Rainmaker accounts by the hundreds......

I have also heard that AR has a NEW policy about Rainmakers who do not

post within 90 days.

I do agree AR is/was a GREAT real estate blogging platform. What I do NOT
understand is what has happened over the last 2 years, since HouseValues
bought a stake in the company and it was monitized.

I also have heard that POPULAR AR members are dropping like flys and taking their
blogging elsewhere.

PLEASE say it isn't so.........

Hi Alexander, not sure if that's all true or not but personally I don't think it's unreasonable to post at least once every 90 days to maintain Rainmaker status.  Hope you have a happy Easter!

This is not something I've heard about, so far at least. I have not been active for that long, so I'm not missing people.

I believe the 90 day rule has been in effect for a long while.  Last winter, I didn't post for 89 days, but I knew I risked my status if I didn't post. As long as the posts stay, I don't think they are unreasonable to start dharging you.

I also believe they are only 'purging' grandfathered accounts that do not post regularly.  If you pay, obviously they are not going to delete an account.

The 90 day blog or cut off the account as Rainmaker policy has been in effect quite some time Alex. The people leaving for whatever reason, some people do, others don't.

Please tell this is not so...... There are times I have not posted in MANY months just because of what was going on in my life and I was not affected.....

It is strange to say the least......

True enough, Corine....... true enough.... I wish AR was still the way it used to be.... but since HV took over, things changed BIG TIME...
