I love to take a bit of quiet time and go for a walk in the woods.
It is time alone that I cherish. I look for game trails that will help me next fall and the time is also used to watch for the Moral Mushrooms.
I stopped and sat on a stump, and I just had this feeling I was not alone.
As I looked around I finally seen this Pine Squirrel sizing me up. He didn't act scared, but still a little cautious.
Spending time with Mother Nature, you never know who you will see.
I agree with you...nothing like a great walk in the woods to reflect and enjoy the silence. Let us know what you encounter on your next stroll!
So I must admit I am not a big fan of these rodents...but I love the picture....they do seem to watch us don't they

William, when walking in the woods we sure do get to see wildlife having fun in their home. And to have them watch what we are doing in their home. Squirrels sure are one that will put on a mighty fine show in the woods to watch.

Bill, we don't have much for wildlife in our yard on the farm. The dog keeps stuff at bay.
