Tomorrow our beloved granddaughter turns 5.
The entire universe waited with breathless anticipation for her arrival.
And everything has been better since she was born.
We cannot go back to a time where she was not.
She has been adored and beloved by any and all who have ever known her.
A very small party was hosted to celebrate the monumental, world changing event of her turning five.
The world clapped its hands. The sun came out. God smiled. And her grandpa is proud!
On this Day of Rememberance we are reminded of His special gifts to us all with His sacrifice and revisiting. Our children are, to me, the most profound of all His works, giving us smiles when we didn't feel like smiling, committment when all out of drive, hope in the shadow of bleakness and the warmth and illumination that breaks through the enshrouding clouds. Yes, I'm talking about Him and I hope His ears are ringing...in the same breath it's all about the children. Thanks, Phil, for sharing more than one Resurrection.
My daughter turns 7 later this week and I am really hoping that we get the same weather you got. But, looking like a very long and wet week at this point.
Thanks! You just gave me the biggest smile! The perfect way to end the evening! :O) Now, I have to go read the post that you wrote for yesterday. It's got to be good too! He has RISEN! Hallelujah!
