Active Rain Referral's really work!!

I am so Excited.  I just got my first referral client from being on active rain.  Now, here is how it happened. 

I set up a profile on "City-Data" thanks to a recent post by Keith Lutz called "Trolling for Clients." (thanks Keith!!) Go look at it-great stuff.

I went out and commented on a couple of posts about Kansas, Topeka and real estate in general.  Census data, weather patterns, the lay of the land in the Midwest, social events, shopping, parks and schools.  Creating credibility and knowledge of my area and town. THEN directed them to website, Active Rain, and email address.

 HERE'S THE GOOD PART I didn't even think about this as a potential revenue stream.  I received a comment from active rain from a guy that is relocating to Kansas (not my area) and wanted to know if I could recommend someone like myself!!!!

 NOW, that might not have been a buyer/seller for me personally, but it is definitely a referral to my favorite agent in the Kansas City area.

THINK ABOUT, I am going to go back to all the Kansas posts and let people know that if I can be of any help with relocating and finding them an agent to let me know.  Who better to help them find an agent BUT AN AGENT!!!
