  • HUMBLE ROTARY SPAGHETTI DINNER   The Rotarians of Humble have served their Spaghetti dinner for over 40 years!  This event will take place ON Friday, April 29, at the Humble Civic Center from 5-8 PM  Tickets are $6 per person, children under 6 are free.  Live entertainment by Jaime Casco and Carl Progue.  Silent & Live Auctions.  Face painting & Moonwalk for the kids. 
  • HUMBLE POLICE ASSOCIATION ANNUAL CRAWFISH FESTIVAL  The Humble Police Association will be serving up delicious crawfish on Friday, April 29, at the Humble Civic Arena.  All proceeds go to scholarships for local high school students and police employee children.  Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door.  For further information, contact Sgt.   • HOLOCAUST SURVIVOR TO SPEAK AT MEMORIAL SERVICE  On Friday, April 29 at 7:15 PM, Temple Beth Torah's Shabbat evening service will honor survivors of the Holocaust as well as those who perished.  Naomi Warren, who survived three different concentration camps will be the guest speaker.  For further information call (281) 446-5611.

  • ATASCOCITA LIBRARY TEEN POETRY CONTEST  Do you know a teenager who enjoys writing poetry?  Or are you one yourself?  The Atascocita Branch Library is hosting its 6th Annual Teen Poetry Contest and is now accepting submissions of original, unpublished poetry.  Prizes will include a Poet's Gift Basket full of books and other poetic items.  Entries must be typed or neatly handwritten and cannot contain obscenities, gang affiliations, racial slurs or overt sexual imagery.  Make sure your name, age, address, phone number and email is on each entry.  You must be between the ages of 12 and 18.  The deadline is Saturday, April 30.  Submissions can be made in person at the Atascocita Library or they may be emailed to  For complete rules please contact Darla Pruitt at (281) 812-2162.
  • FINE ARTS FESTIVAL  The Humble Independent School District and Lone Star College Kingwood are holding their festival on Saturday, April 30 at Lone Star College in Kingwood.  This is a FREE event for attendees who can participate by creating artwork, attending student musical performances & viewing the art on display.
