Now show a little restraint here. I am only sharing mine because it is amusing and harmless. It means the same thing as yours, but does less damage to the public at large. I also don't have to worry about kids repeating what I said or reporting me to their parents
GIGGLE... BUT PAY ATTENTION
Now, it may be cute, but the look on my face says what I really mean. The words may have you laughing or listening, but the message is clear enough. Behave, stop it already or...take your chances
MY WIFE CURSES AND WE BUST UP LAUGHING
My wife is similar. When she gets upset, she says Oh POO and it is a stretch for her. Her demeanor is such that you cant take her seriously. She was embarrassed for months. It is a rare occasion when this happens.
ITS NOT REALLY YOU.... YA KNOW
Cursing and swearing is not an attractive quality but appears to have its place in not just American society, but in Human History. Caesar cursed, Moses swore at the people, Adam told Eve to knock it off many times and it continues to this day everywhere...
WHAT THE HECK
Don't get good at this. No. It is not good for the resume, public relations, or marketing. You don't want people associating you with a negative word or thought. So don't do this. However, if you substitute a word that is non-offensive, it can work in your favor...For instance
CON SARNE IT
Now if things get really bad, I have heard people Swear... Jesus, Mary, and Joseph and at least they get some heaven points. My sweet McGillicuddy has made people laugh and many have come back to me over time and repeated it to me laughing when they do. I have gotten a lot of good mileage out of it.
DAG NABBITT
Clean out your mouth and closet of all the favorite traditional and acceptable curse and swearing words and since it is hard to stop and get off this addiction, I propose substituting something in its place that works in your favor. If you are having trouble substituting a word... for now just do this
IF YOU HAVE TO...
Just change the letters around on the word you are using until you can find something that is more you...
good luck
