Here Comes The Rain Again!
It's been an April for the record books in the Cincinnati area. Day after day, rain seems to be falling. We've been fortunate, minimal damage and not suffering the tornado damage of our Southern brethren.
But the rain keeps adding up. Almost 12" so far, the rainiest April on record, and we've still got a few days in the month left, and that radar photo....well that's here in no time!
And we're not that far for setting the area record for all time rainiest month ever! We're currently 3rd on the all time Cincinnati list, and another two inches of the wet stuff will make April the new all time champ! No sign of any animals going two by two into an ark, so I think we'll be okay! :)
Of course, there have been some local consequences. So far, Cirque du Soleil has had to cancel 7 of their 34 scheduled shows. River Downs raceway did NOT open on schedule for the first time in 30 years. Anyone living on the flood plains has had to be concerned, and there has been some minor flooding as expected!
And our yard? Breaking out the mower has been nigh impossible, and we have four flats of flowers and one dogwood tree to plant when weather and our schedule permits.
We're hopeful that the weather is cooperative for Saturday as our church works to build the walls for five Habitat for Humanity homes!
But for now, here comes the rain again!
Serving Warren County's residential real estate needs, come rain or shine!
