Carlsbad Village Faire 2011 is Coming to Carlsbad Village on Sunday May 1
It's time again for the famous Carlsbad Village Faire 2011, to be held in downtown Carlsbad Village this Sunday, May 1, 2011 north of Carlsbad Village Drive along State and Grand Avenue, as well as some side streets.
The Carlsbad Village Faire, held twice a year, in the Spring and Fall, is reportedly the largest outdoor one-day fair in the country. The weather is projected to be warm and clear this weekend so you can expect large crowds, as always, with this event.
The Carlsbad Village Faire will run from 8 am until 5 pm, and with 850+ vendors you can expect some of the best shopping around, with everything you can imagine.
Kids can have fun, too, even if they get bored with shopping - the Carlsbad Village Faire has rides, tons of food of all kinds, music, and a pancake breakfast.
And of course all the Carlsbad Village shops and restaurants are open as well with additional places to explore.
Parking is always a challenge due to the crowds, so make use of the 2 shuttles, running from the Sears store at the Westfield Shopping Plaza near the 78 and El Camino Real, and the Poinsettia Coaster Station on Avenida Encinas. Shuttles run every 15 minutes.
Don't miss one of the country's best outdoor one-day fairs this Sunday, May 1 - the Carlsbad Village Faire 2011 promises to be another winner.
