Why are there people who prey on others during difficult times?

With so many people struggling to stay alive in these times why is there those who want to create even more havoc in their lives.

This is just something that I just don't understand. No one knows what it is like for those in these terrible times unless you have walked in their shoes.  Many are hungry, homelss, are losing their homes because of job loss,  loss of financial income or this economy. Others due to the enormous stress are divorcing splitting up families, getting angry and are just lost.

But what I don't get is...... why is another person, ie an agent, would use this as an opportunity to slander and defame another agent. How this person can get way with it is beyond me.  He/she went to the trouble of emailing everything he/she had including their  foreclosure papers, and police report for domestic violence at the home, to the entire MLS.  When someone who he/she sent it to sent him, who knew this other agent, sent him a resonse letting him know he didn't like what he/she was doing, he/she then slandered him to the MLS who isn't even an agent. 

Recently the Star Power group lost a very great guy due to suicide. The pressure of his life was more than he could handle. If you are one of the lucky ones who haven't been hurt buy this economy you should reach out and help someone, maybe a phone call is all they need. It could be a friend, a collegue or maybe a client who will appreciate yout thoughtfulness, who knows, maybe it might save a life.

Think about someone you know who you haven't seen around lately, talked to maybe this person might just need a call from someone, like you.  Most people just don't share their tough times.
