I can see clearly now the Fog is gone, it's gonna be a great sun shiny day in NH

In the White Mountains of New Hampshire - What a difference a day makes (or even a couple of hours).

Sunrise inspection of the field that leads to the Pemi river.

The head count is complete, all present and accounted for. We had three Teenage boys who insisted on camping out last night. The fog was as thick as pea soup, and it rained hard...really hard. I was nervous the tent would be swept down river. These are New Hampshire boys and they know about the outdoors...so I advised them to come in if it got to wet or if they felt the water rising under the tent.

But then the sun broke through and all was right with the world.

Don't get me wrong this river is still very treacherous and will be for days.

If you look closely you'll see a patch of snow along the left hand boarder of this picture (above the red roofs)

This little brook near my home...had this great shaft of sunlight coming through the trees. This is normally a trickle but after last nights rain and the mountain snow melting rapidly, it's quite a torrent today.

Steve, boy that water is really moving.  Glad the boys are safe, but that title of yours is going to have a song in my head the rest of the day :)

George, that was the idea...I saw the sun for the first time in about a week, and it was joyous.

Spring run-off will be here in Montana before too long as well.  Great photos Steve, we'll have to compare outdoor photos sometime.  I have not been to NH yet but I know it is beautiful there.

Hey Johnny Nash, or Jimmy Cliff. Like the bigger pictures. You can feel, hear the roar of that river charging through the river bed and churning with spring run off Steve.

Hi Steve,

Great photos this morning! We sure deserved to see the sun today after a week of overcast skies. What school is your son headed to in the Fall?

Judy...the rivers will be calm enough to kayak in a week, and the grass will be green, just wait a bit and it all changes.
