Is it chilly up north?

I am in Venice Florida and usually our influx of northerners begins later.  It seems that we are seeing more and more people come down earlier.  Is it chilly up north?  We need you all down here!  I think that people who have been shopping for a property will finally buy this season because prices have dropped so dramatically.  Our sellers have really reduced their prices and inventory is healthy.  It is an awesome time to buy property in Venice Florida.  We were also just rated by US News one of the TOP 10 Cities to reitre!

No much cold weather up here... Had a cool spell a few weeks about but now it's near record breaking heat for October...

Hi Edie !

I live in Ontario, Canada and it has been consistently in the 70s and 80s here ever since May. Today is another day where the temps will easily reach over 80 F.....my brother calls southern and near north Ontario 'the new Florida'.  One difference here, our lakes are crystal clear and we don't have alligators.   (((-:

We are in Arizona and we are starting to see people earlier this year as well...  Maybe they are trying to get out before it is cold?

I too am seeing them come early this year. I am in Cape Coral. Maybe it was the lack of the 50 Million Hurricanes that they predicted we were going to have. Maybe its that people realize that it is a good time to buy and they are getting here early to beat the others to buy a home..

 Lets hope for a good Season this year..

I wish I could retire right now and come on down to Florida, but its actually not that bad here yet (in Colorado) that is.  Nice perfect fall days I love it....right now that is.

I guess it's not the weather.  It sounds like you all are having a beautiful fall!  When it does get cold you are welcome to warm up down here.  We welcome everyone! 

Jay - how thankful are you about the lack of hurricanes?

Jo, I remember those fresh water lakes that are alligator-free - I am from Michigan.  Actually a suburb of Detroit.  I spent a lot of time in Ontario, especially when the drinking age was 18 in Canada and 21 in the US.
