Should You Rent or Buy - Information You May Want To Consider in the D.C. Area

First of all, renting makes no sense to me personally. Most of my tenants agree with me. As I have said before many times, I will work with my tenants, or residents, to help them own a home of their own whether or not I am their real estate agent in the transaction. There are times when renting makes sense as I have written on this blog before. If you have credit issues, if you don't have a downpayment (yet!), and if you think you may move in the next five years or so.

When you rent, you make the Landlord wealthy. Yes there is risk involved by being a landlord, like in any business. Having lost my shirt in other businesses, so far I can tell you that I haven't seen anything that will make you richer over time, with less risk, than real estate. So, the objective should be to quit renting and own your own piece of the earth. Call me, I can help you determine where you need to buy to get into a new home through my network of real estate professionals.

If you need more info on renting or buying?
