Spring is officially here and doing well at our lakeside home in the desert. The cycle of nature continues in the Coachella Valley and even though there have been struggles with predators, especially the two-legged kind, it seems that at least for now, all are thriving. Here are a few pictures to show Mother Nature strutting her stuff!

Thanks all for the comments! Jeana, I agree - these would make perfect Mother's Day pictures! Bliz - yes, definitely a zoom, although she seems to recognize me and lets me get pretty close to her and the nest. There are now two goslings and she is still sitting on the nest. Maybe more are on their way!
