What do you do to cheer yourself up when work or life gets you down? I go out and take pictures of nature or beautiful places. Recently, after days and days of rain, I went to the Franklin Park Conservatory to commune with nature at the "Blooms and Butterflies" exhibit. Little did I know that the butterflies tend to hibernate on cloudy rainy days, but I did manage to get a few photos of some beautiful butterflies, one of which was on a Chihuly glass sculpture in the greenhouse/butterfly exhibit room.

This was taken with a Nikon D300s, a Tamron 18-270 lens, at 270 mm, 1/40 sec f6.3, iso 1600.

Larry - Thanks for the compliment! I used to hike -- some of my favorite pictures were taken hiking in the Rockies. Now I just walk.

Dennis - Thanks! I love walking too -- another happiness vitamin -- I wish I had hills to walk up, but Columbus, Ohio is pretty flat.
