I Have a Pretty Cool Spa Gym to Workout at and I am so lucky to have it just blocks from my home.

There are a few of them around the country but their home base is Minneapolis so there are many in our metro area.

It is Lifetime Fitness.

Lifetime Fitness

It is like 500,000 square feet or some unbelievable number.

It has basketball courts and tennis courts.

A rock climbing wall.

A Spa with hair, face and massage treatments.

Lifetime Entrance

A Full Restaurant.

Lifetime Cafe

A Yoga Studio.

A Pilattes Studio.

Three Aerobic Studios.

A Cycling Studio.

Lifetime Cycling Studio

An indoor Olympic Lap Pool.

Lifetime Indoor Pool

An indoor water slide and leisure pool.

An indoor hot tub.

A steam bath and dry sauna in each locker room.

Lifetime Locker Room

An outdoor lap pool.

An outdoor hot tub.

An outdoor leisure pool with water slides.

Lifetime Outdoor Pool

Lounge chairs, umbrellas and an outdoor cafe around the leisure pool.

Did I mention dozens of state of the art workout equipment?

So am I blessed or what? So how come I'm not there everyday??

Shar, your gym spa looks like a HUGE place! We have a rec center pretty close to me, with similar features, but is so crowded, you have to wait to use machines! I do like the Pilate's classes!

Joan, I have yet to take a Pilate's class. I have never had to wait for equipment at this place but boy can the outdoor pool get packed on a hot summer day on the weekends!

Shar, that's some place, now you need some time to go! (With your soon to be TV career and all) I got fed up going out to a fitness place so we bought an elliptical machine, and we already had a hot tub, so it's a scaled down version... really scaled down! :D

It really is a pleasure to go there Sharon. But mostly to lay by the pool rather than work out. LOL

Scaled down is fine Peg, as long as you use it! I have all this equipment available to me and I still don't get there enough.

Maybe is the key word Roger....I get there alot in the summer for Aqua Aerobics outside in the Pool. Then I really feel like I am at a Resort. In the winter I try get there 3 times a week but some months not so great on that account.

Not too bad actually David. My husband and I have a family membership which is $65/month after reimbursement from our health insurance company. Our health insurance pays Lifetime $20/month for each of us if we are there 12 times per month so it makes it very affordable. So $32/person is higher than some of the little express workout places at $20/month but there is no comparison.

It is isn't it Brian. When you drive up to the place it kind of takes your breath away.
