Have We Hit the Bottom of the Albuquerque Real Estate Market?

By

"Have we hit the bottom of the Albuquerque Real Estate market?" I was asked this question for the umpteenth time today. I answered the same way that I have been answering since the first of the year. My answer goes something like this:Lady thinking about Albuquerque Real Estate

"I don't have a crystal ball and I don't know if we've hit the pricing bottom for Albuquerque Houses, but I think we must be close.

The thing is, we won't know the bottom was here until prices start going back up and they stay up for several months in a row. And guess what? By the time that happens it will be too late to get a great deal on a house!

By the time you hear anyone say the market has hit bottom not only will prices will have headed back up but interest rates will have headed back up too! And then guess what? It'll be just like in 2007 when people were saying "I should have sold in 2006," except now they'll be saying "I should have bought in 2011."

The truth is, some would-be investors and home buyers just won't have what it takes to recognize opportunity and commit to purchase investment property or a new home. They'll be left standing on the sidelines saying "I should have." I guess this has something to do with human nature, but some people just won't have what it takes to pull the trigger on buying an Albuquerque House.

Don't get left behind! If you're thinking it's right for you and your family to purchase a new Albuquerque house but you can't pull the string, remember you will never have 100% assurance that the time is right. This is about as good as it will get!

Rich, you have an excellent point....by the time you know it's the bottom, it will be to late to act on it.
