Welcome New Member -- Nina Kuhl from Denver, Colorado.
As I was looking through the posts for the 31 Days of May Challenge - 2011, I noticed a post by Nina Kuhl. After I read her blog, it became obvious she is asking all of the right questions and is eager to learn.
Then I went and looked at her profile and her summary points. It's just something that I do. Am I being too nosy? No, that's how we get to know each other. I would imagine that I'm not alone in doing this.
When I saw her points summary, I realized that she is a newbie. It got me to thinking. Her she is, just starting out and the contest comes along and she JUMPS right in. Her very first blog and she entered into a contest. Now that's the way to get started blogging in Active Rain. Nothing shy or bashful about it.
There are over 206,000 members in Active Rain yet only 425 members participating in this contest. That's about .2% of the membership. And here's Nina, fresh to the rain, jumping in and trying a challenge right out of the gate.
If Nina does stick to it and survive this challenge, I think she may be a success here in Active Rain. Let's give her the usual Active Rain warm welcome. Stop by her blog, comment on her posts and encourage her along as she takes on this challenge. Let her see how much there is to learn from each of us here and what a great community she has become a part of.
