In terms of cheap eats, this place is on the list with Fuel City and Royal Sweets. Buy 3 sandwiches for $9 and you get a 4th one for free. That deal is difficult to beat. We are talking about enormous sandwiches here. Each sandwich is large enough to be split between two adults. The bakery is located on the back of a satellite block of stores in a large strip center in a part of Garland north of LBJ. I expected something other than what it is. It is a bakery that also sells sandwiches. Everything is carryout. There are no tables or chairs anywhere. This is not a Fine Dining Experience. My lunch companion and I stood in the parking lot and ate over the hood of my car. The sandwich bread is lovely, partially because it is so fresh. Remember, this is a bakery. We ordered the pork sandwiches. They came dressed with long slivers of peppers and cilantro. The taste combination was pretty close to perfect. 4 sandwiches were a lot, even for 2 people. I had read reviews said that the sandwiches are good as leftovers. I was skeptical but I stepped out in faith and that culinary trust was rewarded. The leftovers made a great dinner.
