Celebrate Independence Day Early!
The Town of Ramapo's Celebration of Liberty and Pride, Concert and Fireworks - Sunday, June 26,2010 at Rockland Community College in Suffern NY
The Town of Ramapo is once again commemorating Independence Day with a Music and Fireworks display. Their annual "Celebration of Liberty and Pride" is scheduled to take place this Sunday, June 26 from 5:30 PM - 9:30 PM at Rockland Community College's athletic fields. Admission to this annual event (both the concert and the fireworks) is FREE.
The musical entertainment is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM , followed by a skydiver display. Reggie Woods and The Soul Street concert will start at 9:00 PM with the grand fireworks extravaganza (by Zambelli Internationale) to follow at approximately 9:30 PM.

In case of rain, the Soul Street Concert will take place on Sunday, June 26th at The Joseph T. St. Lawrence Community, Health & Sports Center, 115 Torne Valley Road, Hillburn, New York, starting at 8:00 PM but the fireworks display will take place on Monday, June 27th at Rockland Community College beginning at 8:30 pm.

Make sure to bring a blanket, a picnic, some lawn chairs and your family (all ages are welcome) and come join the fun. Get a head start at celebrating our country's birthday and independence.
