I hear people say this with their appliances and electrical devices, things just don't seem to last like they used to. Take for instance, I see whatever heaters that are either less than 7 years old and 15 years plus and still working great.... what happened in there, late 90's early 2000 where they just break down after 7 or 8 years of service.... How about building materials? A meeting I had on Saturday informed me that the same builder who did her house 5 years ago and is still working in the same development does not build the homes with the same level of quality as he did 5 years ago, really? I understand the obvious, built ins, cabinetry and quality of flooring but at the end of the day is a 30 year roof still a 30 year roof and paint on drywall the same regardless of who put it there? Or are we splitting hair trying to justify overpricing our house so we can hope for  another day or two, or six months on the market that we're worth the $ ? I have yet to figure my position and appreciate your thoughts AR community!
