Sunshine Kids Send Off, Omaha, Nebraska
What a beautiful morning today brought! The Sunshine Kids, which Prudential Ambassador helps with to raise money for kids with cancer, was able to send 3 kids to Washington, DC today from the Omaha area. I was at the airport this morning with other real estate agents from Prudential Ambassador Real Estate to help give the boys a proper send off as they go with their nurse for a week away for fun and education at our nation's very pretty city.
To see the excitement on their faces, what a treat! And they will be meeting up with kids from other cities that the Sunshine Kids was able to send as well. Treat bags were handed out to help with trip. Hopefully some snacks and magazines will make the flight more pleasant. The boys certainly seemed happy to have them. I'm sure it was tough for the parents to part with them for a whole week, especially how protective they must have to be sometimes. But the boys could not have looked more thrilled!
I was happy to be a part of the send off and wish the boys the best week in DC!! Thank you Sunshine Kids!!
