Manassas Event To Benefit Wounded Warriors May 7, 2011

The Manassas Regional Airport will be the site of the Wings, Wheels and Warrior Day organized by the airport.

The day will begin at 7:30 AM with the Manassas Runway 10K/5K race sponsored by the Manassas Rotary Club

The event will feature

exotic cars
vintage warplanes
motorcycle stunt show
radio controlled airplane exhibits
helicopter demonstrations
exhibits
food vendors
big band music by Swing Machine of Manassas

Although the event is free donations will be accepted to support Wounded Warrior Aviation - an organization that aids American's wounded veterans.

This is a great cause, Karen. Our family attended a benefit for a severly wounded Marine in the Lafayette area on Saturday night, and it was great to see the large turnout to help raise money for the family and wounded Marine, Cpl. Matt Bowman who is recovering in the Richmond area.
