I think Spring is Finally Arriving in Nampa Idaho.....

The weather was perfect yesterday in Nampa
Idaho...70 degrees with a bit of a breeze....  Daffys and tulips

I got my grubby clothes on and a big glass of ice water and headed out to take care of some badly needed weeding and dead heading of plants!  

I had the kids next door playing or should I say as a serenade of music!   LOL    They played a bit of baseball and old fashiones hide and seek!    I  love kids laughter....and you sure learn a lot!  LOL

My yard didn't get finished but I made a huge step in progress....and some decisions of some plants that just need to go...for my sanity and to simplify the yard work!  

Yesterday was the first day off of Real Estate in quite a while....I am not complaining that I have been busy...but my yard sure was missing me!   

I have tulips and jonquils and grape hyacinth that are in full bloom....the phlox and the snow drop is doing well...my lilacs are bursting and should be blooming this weekend!  

Just all in all a great mental health day!

Hi Deborah, I enjoy gardening and find it as a great use to claim a mental health day as well.  I am behind on my weeding as well.  Need to tackle my butterfly garden.  Your flowers are beautiful.  Enjoy!

Hi Deborah, I love that the kids were playing outside..how novel! It does put a smile on my face when I see that as well. Before we know it those warm days and nights of summer will be here. Gotta love spring!

Debbie, So happy to see all of you up north getting a very deserved break!  I got tired of the snow stories :)  It is exciting to get the garden started again.

Lou...I sure hope so....this week is supposed to be mostly nice!   gotta love that!

Mike...I would agree...something about playing in the dirt really does energize me!   The next day when I can't move might be a different story!   LOL

Cindy...it truly was music to my ears....so many kids hibernate inside with video game and aren't outside...they were making up all sorts of games as they played...and of course the rules kept changing!  LOL

Billi...really that is what it is doing here...I turn the furnace off for a few days and then back on....back and forth back and forth!  LOL

Ellie...it sure is...and this year I am determined to plant a few veggies!   I have wanted to for several years...and I think this year will be the year!
