What Kind of Seller Client Are YOU?

In the world of Real Estate and Sales in general you come across a large diversity of individuals. Each individual has a different personality, with different wants and desires and little specifics that they care the most about.

Each client needs to be taken care of respectively and responsibly, but also in a way they are most comfortable with. When an individual begins their search for the right agent there are probably a lot of things that go on the list as being a good agent. You want an agent that can listen to your needs rather than brush them off. You want an agent that will REALLY be honest with you, and gets you excited about the home buying and selling process. You want an agent that not only can sense your initial reactions to things, but can also manage the good with the bad. You also want an agent that can deliver on their promises.

But what about agents. What does an agent look for in a client. Not all clients are alike. Some are easy go lucky and are excited about the process. Maybe some are unfamiliar with the whole idea. Some may be weary about the process. Maybe because they have been scorned by another agent, were treated disrespectively or had a bad expereience. Some have been through the process many times and feel as if they know everything they need to know. All these types of client personalities are great. They make each client unique and each day a new experience.

But what am I looking for in a client?

I am looking for a client who is able and willing to price their home correctly, based on the current market conditions. I want a client who is willing to talk and discuss the events and details of their situation at least once a week. I would also like someone who is willing to let me market their home based on proven advertising strategies. I want to work with someone who can understand exactly what I get paid to do and will let me do just that. I want to work with individuals that will let me present them with the good news and the bad new equally and honestly and someone who will make adjustments when necessary.

Being a Real Estate agent is the best profession in the world. You get to meet new people each day and experience life through their eyes.

Your clients give you the best gift of all by allowing you to be witness to their dreams coming true. Buying or Selling a home is one of the biggest if not the biggest step an individual or family can make and allowing myself to be a part of the life changing event is why I do what I do.
