Considering leasing an executive home in Atlanta or Buckhead during 2011? The current Buckhead executive home leasing market is the hottest Tim Francis Realty has seen in the last 10 years. Please be prepared to look and act quickly if you see something that works well for you.
The market has fewer offerings of Buckhead executive lease homes available and a much higher number of folks looking to lease than we’ve seen over the past 10 years. In fact, a very high number of our current lease homes are being renewed, so that they aren’t coming back on the market, but the current tenants are staying another year at a higher rate.
At a recent lease renewal appointment I had, I loved how the current tenant who has traveled the world as an expatriate for an international company put it. He said, “We’ve realized if you get 90% of what you are looking for in terms of your executive leasing requirements, life is good and go from there.”
That’s an excellent philosophy and I will tell you folks are truly shocked that the leasing market is so hot. In some neighborhoods, I’ve had requests for months on summer leasing needs, as there is nothing available for lease.
