What is action?
I attended an event this morning that was based on social media and how different forms of social media can be used to enhance a business and/or brand. The information that was presented was informative, exciting, and overwhelming, and, I realized, knowledge of these tools may be critical for building a business.
As I was reading Jeffrey Gitomer's LITTLE RED BOOK Of SELLING tonight, a phrase that stood out was "Become known as a person of action....".
The information I learned today means nothing if I don't "act" on it and use what I learned to make my business better, not just for myself, but also for my clients, my referral partners, my co-workers. Regardless of the occupation a person may have, action, especially if it means change, can be hard to do. However, to make the choice to "act" on something just may be the reason a client, referral partner, employer, a business, has an experience worth repeating.
