Rose Street Park in Cary NC is one of those little neighborhood parks, tucked away in a quiet area. It reminds me of Lexi Lane Park, Dorothy Park, Heater Park, and Urban Park.
Unlike Bond Park, or North Cary Park, marquee headliners that they are, Rose Street Park, is much smaller.
At Rose Street Park, you will find a playground, an open play area, some benches for supervising parents, and a small basketball court. The parking lot is adequate for 10 or 12 cars, and that is probably enough, as many park-goers probably live in the adjoining Burtrose neighborhood.
And the park is framed by beautiful mature crape myrtles. 20 foot tall crape myrtles with 3 and 4 inch caliper size are dramatic in their fountain shape, and the intrigue the trunks and bark develop over time.
