Craig - these are all excellent picks, you have one of my favorite headers...I think the scrabble tiles are very unique.
I like that you highlighted different types of backgrounds. The first one is simple and elegant. The 2nd has more going on but it super tastefully done, and I like the "slice" of backgkround under the banner. And the 3rd one is simple but visually appealing and gets the job done.
WOW they are beautiful backgrounds...I like the way you detailed out the difference. I def. need to replace mine.
Cyber Sid - best to not have distracting backgrounds! solid neutral color is easy and safe choice
Larry - thanks - glad you like mine too :)
Tara - I'm trying to find a nice variety - glad to see you checking in :)
Ritu - always glad to provide ideas and examples, thx!
Craig - love that you gave us three examples for our bannera and backgrounds, AND included some hints on where to find good "How Tos" Thanks!
Craig - I suggested this, as I get a lot of questions about this from my newbies that I mentor - great guidance!
Ah, another blog post worthy of a bookmark. I love Andi's theme too ... classy!
Dagny - I'm glad you liked - I like being able to look back at my favs when I'm setting up new pages - it's good for getting creative ideas
Cynthia - yes Andi has a nice tagline too, like that also :)
Craig, three excellent examples that give us a different perspective. I put my blog theme together with what I wanted to look at. I didn't even consider what the reader would like to look at. what appealed to me. I may need to go back and re think what I have. Thank you for the tips. I SUGGESTED.
Craig: For those of us that are less than creative, the fact that you give real examples of what you speak is wonderful. I'm beginning to be a faithful hardcore fan ...
Gene
Hi Craig, These three featured banners look great. I have a banner, but I am always looking to make some improvements soon. Thanks for the links on where to go to see how to make these banners.
Craig,
I enjoy reading your Gold Star blogs!
Looks like there are alot of great people here on Activerain!
Craig - glad to give you ideas - give some thought to a header graphic too :)
Gene - love the enthusiasm, helps me want to keep blogging, thx! PS - your blog header is nice too
Jerry - your header is a good one - if you do an updated version watch the sizing to match 960 x 130 pixels to make sure everything aligns right
Alan - like to hear that thx
Michele - it is a special group, thanks as always for visiting (though I'm used to seeing you in the AM :)
Thanks for a great demo of good effects and appearance. I've only recently learned, with some help of AR member Valerie, to use these features. More improvements well be coming now.
Great picks Craig. Though with the winter and cold spring we have had the swimming pool one is calling my name!
Had to bookmark this one, great examples and helpful information Craig. Thanks for the post.
Some great ones here. Nice picks and great explanations so we all can learn.
These are all nice themes. I like the simpleness of Kathy's, very clean. I know I have work on mine to do, now I will take another look. Thanks
Craig, thanks for the Gold Star for our blog :) We were very happy with it and it's a super affirmation that you and others feel the same way!

What an honor to have received one of your coveted gold stars. Thanks, Craig.
As for my banner - you nailed it. I was absolutely aiming for the "less-is-more" look. Thanks again for the feature.
Kathy
Kathy - glad to spotlight you - it is a nice example in the "simple is good too" category
Jeremy - glad to add different thoughts to the queue!
Andi - you are very welcome, again a terrific job and gold-star worthy!
Hi Craig, thanks again for the excellent post, I plan on being one of your featured themes soon. If I can just get this dang Broker exam taking care of first. Will keep you posted.
Craig - thanks for posting this - good information and I am hoping to be able to put it to use quickly. My market has picked up greatly and, while I am keeping up with my blogging goals, I have some technology issues that I need to address. Still learning - lots to work!
I did a banner once -- then I forgot how to do it again... I don't do them often enough to be proficient at it... I love your gold star - and I really like your background with the blue bird of happiness sitting on your umbrella.
Thanks Craig, I've got a banner just waiting to be uploaded to my site...AR having some tech problems in this area...but it's giving me time to fine tune. Your input and suggestions as ALWAYS are appreciated.
Craig - I love your blog and I really like the idea of Craig's Clicks. I think you've picked some really great examples for customized sites. Thanks for this posting and your very educational blogs.
Craig, thanks for the lesson. I will look at customizing my sight later today.
I removed the photo in mine as there was to much going on.I want to keep the focus on my blog.
