Dorie, this is always a challenge and although i feel i am like an encyclopedia, you can't be all knowing...drilling down to the area is the best way...when they want to consider 4 towns it really is about price and not quality of living i've found...best

Dorie, so true. Everyone places a different value on life and what we deem important. A good agent's job is to find out what is important to their client...

Good morning Ginny,
The time spent determining which area or part of town a buyer feels the most comfortable makes the most sense because then finding the house becomes a walk in the park!

Hi Dorie,
This post rings true around here. First off, sometimes I think I am losing my mind... I can't find my keys, glasses, purse, etc. Then the rest of the family chimes in with things they can't find - I think I spend too much time simply looking for things! Second, I don't like when clients start asking the 20 Questions about a home - it is one thing if they are truly interested in a home but we get clients who want to know everything about a home we KNOW they are clearly not interested in.

Dorie - you are the go-to Realtor in your area and that is apparent by your blog. I know know so much about your area that if I were ever moving to or near Canyon Creek - you'd be the first person I'd call. BTW - it is a beautiful area!

a lot of similarities in both life and houses, as both age tends to need work LOL We always need to be able to point out items to our buyers and sellers and you do a good job educating your clients!
