I was very happy to find the information regarding the Somerset County Parks website neatly organized and quite easy to understand. After being a long time resident of Somerset County, New Jersey, I still found new facilities that I didn't know existed. Below is a brief summary of what you can expect to find on the website.
If you live in Central New Jersey, the Somerset County Parks System is something that everyone should be aware of and enjoy. Included on the website are:
- General Information, that contains directions to the many parks and maps,.
- Parks and Facilities, that lists where the general parks and natural and undeveloped parks are located and what's included in these parks such as golf courses and tennis courts.
- Activities, such as dog parks, gardens, miniature golf, roller hockey and horseback riding.
- Events and Programs such as concerts, naturalist programs, swim lessons and park ranger programs.
- News Releases, that remind everyone of annual monthly events.
- Site Index, that introduces you to every page on the website.
Again I would invite you discover the Somerset County Park. The Site Index offers a 32 page downloadable brochure that can help inform everyone in your family of the benefits of the park facilities has to offer. The website is www.SomersetCountyParks.org.
